Day 1 We will get the blood flowing by doing a scenic ride around the Tumut Valley. This will include a stop at the Blowering Dam, then some climbing up into Goobragandra Valley and finally the peak of the day is the Category 2, 8km @ 5% Argalong Road Climb. The totals for Day 1 are 105km and 1636m of climbing.
Day 2 The Sunday ride is the tough day of the Spring Camp. With 143km & 2200m of climbing to done it will certainly test the legs of many of the riders. After the early climbs through Adelong, we reach a short gravel sector then into 36km of consistent climbing and reaching over 1000m in altitude. A lunch stop is planned at the majestic Sugar Pine Forest which is always a favourite for the insta fans amongst the group. A predominantly downhill 60km ride back into Tumut awaits the riders from here.
Day 3 Our final day in Tumut will see some tired legs thankful for the initial 45km of river flat before we get to the Cat 2, 15km climb to the Adjungbilly homestead. Further challenges await with another gravel sector and 2 6km climbs before a flowing descent down the Blue Cutting and into Tumut. Day 3 stats: 115km & 1600m.
