Wheel Lacing System -The rear hub design features 24 spokes count assembled with a 2:1 pattern. This results in improved lateral stiffness, on the average 20% higher than the previous generation, fitting any riding style and the most exigent riders.

New self-locking ABS nipples prevent the loosening of the nipples and spokes. The nipple has a perforated nylon ball inserted in the head. The locking is created by the friction between the spoke's thread and the nylon ball while tightening all the adjusting and tensioning of the wheel can be carried out as usual.

New deda freehub body design - The freehub body features three independently operating pawls (leaf system) for very fast engagement and bigger pedal's force transmitting. An independent wider spring, under each pawl, guarantee solid engagement out of each pawl.
