Take Lake's brilliant CX 237 platform and add some width to create a road cycling shoe with full leather comfort that fits more feet.

With a profile specifically designed for very high-cadence riding & higher pressure, their Competition last features a more curved profile than the Sport last.

The main differences include increased toe pitch & heel lift, a tighter heel & a slightly wider ball girth to allow the foot to expand under high pedaling pressures. The wide version offers 15mm of additional volume at the ball of the foot over the standard width last.

Last - Competition Last: The Competition last is specifically shaped for optimal power transfer and comfort. Like the CFC race last, the Competition last puts the foot in a position that allows the energy to be focused to the spindle but also offers more room for the forefoot to expand allowing for a comfortable fit for extreme long distance riding.

There is literally nothing more to say other an this shoe fits. Being a wide feet person I always struggle when it came to buying shoes. I don't remember what comfortable shoes feels like anymore until I tried these in the bikebug store. Simply fits

Simply the most comfortable shoe

I've 2 Sidis, 1 Giro they are extremely tight (even the wide shoe) at the toe box. Because the Giro and Sidi only increase the fabric/leather for their wide shoes and sole remain the same (maybe cost-cutting measure). But Lake, they cut the sole genuinely to fit wide feet, u are paying for a generous amount of stiff carbon sole. Result: Simply the most comfortable road shoe I've ever worn.... and oh it's lightweight.
