The Legend Continues

After more than 40 decades Goodyear returns to the manufacturing of bicycle tyres. The Eagle F1 and Eagle F1 Supersport are among the first in the new range. The Eagle F1 has long been one of Goodyear's premium motorsports tyres, and Goodyear Bike continues with the Eagle F1 name to link back to their tyre's hierarchy.

Developed for Speed

The new Eagle F1 and the Eagle F1 Supersport models hug the road with the DynamicGSR compound, which combines Graphene and Silica. Between them, they increase both wet and dry grip while still rolling fast. Those are blended into natural (resistance to cracking, drying) and synthetic (low rolling resistance) rubbers. The new Eagle F1 models are not tubeless compatible as they are shed of extra rubber and are optimized for the slightly narrower 17mm non-tubeless traditional road bike rims.

Both of these F1 models use a supple 120tpi casing and Goodyear's R:Shield puncture protection cap. On this Eagle F1 the cap is a little wider, and the rubber on top of it is just a hair thicker but maintains the mild texturing making it a light, ultra-high performance, all-round road race tyre.

Ultra-High Performance Competition

The Eagle F1 Supersport, which is even lighter, has a narrower puncture protection belt and a slick centre tread section. This gives the Supersport the fastest possible rolling performance and is aimed at competition, being much suited to road racing, time trial and triathlon where speed is the ultimate requirement.
