The larger axle and a wider hub flange spacing create a set-up with reduced fork twisting and a super responsive wheel, the core of the predictive steering engineering. The quick-release Maxle Ultimate system does not compromise on clamping force, giving you the confidence to absolutely send it. Small but significant modifications to the flange angle allow the spokes to be completely inline when under tension, improving durability and minimising spoke breakage.
