The Riot 24 is Bont Cycling’s latest iteration of their popular Riot series, designed for all-day comfort and a versatile fit. Using modern slide-and-ride construction combined with anatomically-correct shaping, these shoes suit a wide range of foot shapes and sizes, making them a great choice for riders of all abilities.
Fit and adjustment
The Riot 24 features a dual-dial BOA L6 Fit System, providing a precise, secure, and easily adjustable fit. Compared with the Riot+ BOA, this model accommodates a broader range of foot shapes, so more riders can enjoy a comfortable and supportive ride straight out of the box. Heat molding is optional for most riders. Sizing follows Bont’s standard Riot chart, so if you wear a 9/43 in previous Riot shoes, the same size should work in the Riot 24.
Construction and comfort
The carbon composite sole provides support and efficiency without compromising comfort. The low carbon forefoot encourages natural foot placement and improved power transfer, while the anatomical heel cup secures the foot and increases ankle clearance. The lightweight microfiber upper is breathable and supple, with a honeycomb fabric liner and light padding for all-day comfort.
Performance features
The Riot 24 offers a 4.6 mm stack height for closer contact with the pedal, rounded pedal strokes, and improved stability. The shoes come with replaceable heel guards, carbon steel cleat hardware, and a fixed 3-hole road pedal mounting system with an alignment grid. Two widths are available — standard and wide/Asian — to suit more foot types.
