The new Record 13 rear derailleur, completely redesigned for this generation, redefines the standards of road shifting.
Optimized to deliver maximum smoothness and speed in gear transitions—even under load—it features a fully revised derailleur path that enhances efficiency across the entire cassette range.
The result is faster shifting than any current 12-speed system, despite the addition of an extra sprocket.
The new rear derailleur architecture, with optimized positioning beneath the cassette, contributes to a cleaner aesthetic, improved aerodynamics, and perfect alignment between pulleys and gear ratios. The outcome is even quieter, more precise, and more reliable shifting, even on rough terrain.
The two 14-tooth pulleys feature a differentiated profile designed to guide the chain optimally throughout every phase of pedaling. The system uses traditional bearings, ensuring long-term strength and durability.
The cage is compatible with cassettes ranging from 10 or 11 teeth up to 36 teeth, offering a wide gear range suitable for any terrain and riding style.
Operation and geometry are directly derived from the Super Record 13 platform, inheriting all the top-tier performance characteristics of Campagnolo’s flagship groupset.
Mounting versatility is also extensive: direct attachment with Campagnolo UDH hanger, classic link for traditional frames, and compatibility with direct mount hangers.
The derailleur is powered by a removable battery with a range of up to 750 km. Charging is ultra-fast: only 60 minutes are required to reach 100% capacity. Battery status can be easily monitored via the integrated LED, the MyCampy app, or compatible cycle computers.
The USB-C connector ensures full compatibility with modern charging devices, including smartphones that can be used as power banks in emergency situations.
The design also reflects Campagnolo’s excellence: the outer cage is made of carbon with a direct-from-mold finish, while aluminum components are anodized with tone-on-tone detailing. Even the branding becomes a distinctive element, showcasing the brand’s expertise in material processing and its pursuit of a clean, elegant, and iconic aesthetic.
