The 4 STAGIONI is always the right choice, whether your roads are smooth and dry or wet and filled with debris. More than just a great summer tire with incredible XP casing protection, the SMART HYDRO tread compound makes it perfect for all four seasons.

This handmade XP Series tire combines a supple, bead-to-bead reinforced Super Polyester casing with our SMARThydro tread compound, optimizing wet surface traction. Our new Easy-Fit Shape moulding process gently pre-forms the tire for easier mounting and inflation.

This Challenge TLR model is Hookless Rim Compatible.

    • Challenge handmade tires combine comfort, performance, and grip in a way other tires can't match. Our handmade tires are assembled step-by-step by experienced craftspeople. High quality natural glues and latex coatings are applied to ultra-supple casing materials like silk, cotton, or polyester. The result is a small-batch tire with a ride feel that is simply on a different level.
  • SERIES: XP (Xtra Protection)
    • Rugged High Performance – Extra Protection under the tread and in the sidewalls make XP the choice for rough pavement and gravel routes where sidewall cuts are common.
  • CASING: Super Polyester 260TPI
    • Super Polyesters with higher thread counts of 220-300tpi make up our most affordable handmade casings. Polyester is much softer and stronger then nylon, is impervious to water and quite durable.
  • COMPOUND: SMARThydro
    • The same low rolling resistance of our SMARTprime compound with improved wet-weather grip. SMARThydro forms the basis of our most versatile tires.
  • CASING REINFORCEMENT: Silver + Gold
    • Gold Armor combines the Silver Armor sidewall reinforcement with a bead-to-bead internal casing layer that provides the ultimate resistance to damage.
