Gemini's RIGEL carbon chainrings are a masterpiece of engineering that takes drivetrain chainrings to the next level.
Each Rigel chainring is handcrafted in Gemini's Barcelona workshop, using their own technology and the finest carbon fibre. Gemini continuously mold the fibre onto the metal teeth, achieving a fibre distribution impossible with any other process. The result is a unique, exclusive, and limited-production piece. The development of this chainring has taken us over three years and earned us two international patents.

Anti-wear technology
Gemini crafted the core of each tooth from 7075-T6 aluminium alloy, the hardest aluminium, to transmit power while providing high wear resistance, while carbon fibre covers the core laterally, reducing dynamic friction and noise with each link in the chain, creating an ultra-light and aerodynamic chainring structure. You will feel an unparalleled smoothness when pedalling.
Continuous Fiber Teeth
Thanks to a process involving over 100 tons of controlled pressure and the specific arrangement of the material in the mold, the composite fibres are arranged in the geometry of each tooth around the metal core with a structural concentric organisation that gives it a strength impossible to achieve with any other carbon fibre manufacturing process, such as those manufactured in layers or subsequent CNC machining.
