The Imperial™ II All Seasons delivers every feature the fastest racers demand. Secure, micro-adjustability on the fly comes from a BOA® Fit System featuring Dual Li2 Dials. An all-new flat knitted Synchwire upper serves up the highest levels of comfort and breathability, courtesy of an unique knitted mesh construction which integrates venting and adds durability via a thermally bonded TPU skin. A completely new forged carbon fiber outsole plate improves the stiffness by 20Nm while keeping the total weight of the shoe to a mere 220gm. With Giro's signature clean style, the Imperial II is in a class of its own.

• BOA® Li2 Dials - Dual BOA® Li2 closure with alloy dials delivers a sleek; low-profile design and unprecedented durability. With incremental micro-adjustability in both directions; the Li2 system ensures a precision fit engineered to perform in the toughest conditions.
• TPU Monofilament Mesh - One-piece woven TPU monofilament mesh upper with Durable thermally bonded TPU skin locks in power with the highest levels of comfort and breathability; eliminating seams and enhancing performance.
• Unidirectional Forged Carbon Plate - Originally developed for motorsports; forged carbon can be molded into much more complex geometries than traditional carbon fiber composites; and better suited to details such as thickness transitions; cleat bolt holes; and compound curvature. The Empire SLX II plate is 20Nm stiffer than the previous version.
• Supernatural Fit System - Our Supernatural Fit System includes footbed and adjustable arch support with Low; Medium; and High arch support chips. Adjust arch support to enhance fit and pedaling efficiency while reducing the chances of common foot discomforts like numbness; hotspots; and cramping.
