Made thick for aggressive riding and racing this SILCA NASTRO PILOTI BAR TAPE is the ultimate tape for the most discerning, performance-minded cyclists. It has a softer, more comfortable feel, higher wet and dry grip, better vibration isolation, and 3-5x the durability of existing tape materials.

Luxurious Cushioning
While ultra-performance, SILCA NASTRO PILOTI BAR TAPE has an impressive thickness of 1.85mm it actually provides cushioning equivalent to 2.5mm thick tapes of existing technology for extra hand comfort and vibration damping. This is thanks to the Tri-Laminate design which uses a laminate of SILCAthane, SILCAlon and 3M Visco-elastic adhesive instead of a single foam extrusion.

You Control The Aero And The Grip
The Asymmetric PILOTI Texture of NASTRO PILOTI TAPE is inspired by Formula 1 tyre technology and allows the tape to be wrapped in either a moderate texture or high texture format depending on your preference. This leaves you free to create a more aerodynamic wrap with tunable grip level depending on wrap direction.

Better Wrapping Techniques
Since the actual wrap of the tape can be as important as the tape itself, SILCA have also developed a fully adhesive backed 'butterfly' (SILCA Butterfly technology) for a cleaner, more customisable wrap which betters cover the back of the brake lever clamp area with minimal bulk or deformation of the hoods. Also included is a high grip finishing tape and expanding Aluminium/composite end plugs to ensure every detail is perfect.
