Only 4mm of stack. The extra machining and new profile of the MK0 headsets have meaningful gains. Compared to the non-MK0 design, these have a 44% reduction in aluminum weight without compromising strength and durability.
A NEW PROFILE
MK0 headsets feature a new design language and an exclusive color. For this new aesthetic, each top cap spends 4x more time in our CNC lathe, before undergoing thorough QC inspection, anodizing in the new Shadow Gray color, and branding before it can be installed in a head tube.
Wolf Tooth IS41 MK0 Upper Headsets feature the shortest possible stack height to maintain the best-in-class strength, sealing, and performance found in Wolf Tooth Premium Headsets. The result is a 44% reduction in weight from Wolf Tooth Premium Headsets, with increased performance and new aesthetics with visible machine paths to align with the MK0 line.
Wolf Tooth headsets are machined here in our Minnesota shop with aircraft-grade 6061 aluminum. They are designed to be lightweight, strong, and durable. Our headsets have three levels of industry-leading custom sealing to protect bearings from the elements and prolong the life of the headset. Available in a variety of colors. These IS headsets are for frames with molded-in internal bearing cups. Premium Headsets with Enduro stainless steel bearings have a lifetime warranty on the bearings.

Compatibility
- Any frame that uses IS (Integrated Standard) headsets with 41mm upper and 52mm lower outer bearing diameter
- Uppers and lowers sold separately
- Enduro stainless steel sealed bearings included on both the upper and lower
- IS42 is not compatible with Specialized mountain bikes or bikes using the Campagnolo Hiddenset standard
- Upper headsets ship with a star nut which can only be used on forks with steel or aluminum steerer tubes. For forks with carbon steerer tubes you will need a compression plug (sold separately). (Never use a star nut on a carbon steerer tube)
