The undulating 58mm Sawtooth rim shape with Hyperfoils makes Zipp's 454 the most aerodynamically efficient and stable rim in the 404 family, and will perform brilliantly in all wind conditions.

The 454 NSW Tubeless Disc- brake wheelset is more than 400 grams lighter than its predecessor! The wider rim is designed for running tubeless tyres at lower pressure for reduced rolling resistance and vibration damping. Zipp's use of hookless (straight side) rims in the 454 NSW is integral to Making You Faster. With hookless, the transition between the tyre and the rim is more seamless and aero. Zipp's hookless rims have more efficient resin distribution, which means lighter, stronger wheels. Designed to lose as little energy as possible out on the road the wheels are optimised for 25mm tubeless tyres for all out speed.

Zipp's NSW Cognition DB V2 Hubset is re-engineered with Axial Clutch V2 for quicker engagement and lower friction in the rear wheel. Every time a conventional freehub starts to coast, friction within the freehub ratchet mechanism makes for inefficiencies, so Zipp got to work and came up with the light and durable hubset, the Cognition Disc Brake V2 hub with AxialClutch V2 technology. Drag is reduced by disengaging the ratchet mechanism when coasting. The AxialClutch V2's wave spring acts to re-engage the ratchet mechanism quickly and consistently once the rider starts pedalling.

Outdoor testing commissioned by Zipp revealed the real-world gains of Zipp Total System Efficiency (TSE). A bike-and-rider system weighing 85kg (187lbs) on the new 454 NSW with 25mm tyres required 278 watts to maintain a speed of 40kph. That's a 10-watt savings compared with the previous model 454 NSW.

When you buy new Zipp wheels and components, you're now backed by a lifetime warranty for sales globally. This includes manufacturing defects, of course, but also for damage for intended use while riding.
The warranty is for Model Year 2021 Zipp wheels, handlebars, stems, and seatposts. It only applies to the original owner and is not transferable. Model Year 2021 and later components can be identified by the new Zipp logo. The lifetime warranty is for non-electronic products, so with the Vuka Shift AXS 90, the warranty covers the carbon extensions but not the electronics, which have a two-year warranty.
"The goal here is to make sure that as either a new or returning customer, you're getting better peace of mind with any incidents that might happen while you're riding your bike," SRAM Director of Dealer Service Mark Van Gemert said. "Any riding incident is covered under the warranty policy on the 2021 product."
Specifically for gravel riding, the lifetime warranty applies to 202 and 303 wheel models.
An authorized dealer must process warranty claims. Take your Zipp product and original proof of purchase to the dealer where it was purchased to start the process. To expedite service interactions, we recommend registering your wheelset at zipp.com/reg. Registration, however, is not necessary to use the warranty policy.
